FIDO – Diwali Digital Campaign

Overview

For Diwali, the Festival of Lights, FIDO launched a digital campaign to connect with South Asian audiences by celebrating tradition, nostalgia, and the warmth of home. The creative was designed to evoke an emotional connection and resonate with the cultural spirit of Diwali in a modern digital format.

Project Brief

The brief was to create a festive digital visual that would feel instantly recognizable to those celebrating Diwali, while tying into FIDO’s friendly and inclusive brand tone. The goal was to create a culturally relevant piece that could be used across multiple digital touchpoints, reflecting both tradition and innovation.

Role as Art Director

As the Art Director, I led the ideation and full execution of the visual, from initial concept to final layout adaptations. I juxtaposed a traditional Indian home entrance with the shape of a smartphone, symbolizing the connection between home and modern communication. The design featured elements like hanging lanterns, festive lights, clay oil lamps (diyas), and vibrant Rangoli patterns—all carefully composed to evoke a strong sense of nostalgia and cultural authenticity. My role also included adapting the visual across multiple formats for digital platforms, ensuring consistency and impact across the campaign.
